Justin "The DrakeTaker" Reamer

Justin was introduced to waterfowl hunting by his father Jeff when he was 8 years old and he has been addicted ever since. "I can still remember my first hunt, when two Drake Mallards came into the spread and my dad said take em' and I dropped both Drakes." Ever since then Justin has been hunting waterfowl religiously. Growing up in Silver Lake, KS in the Kaw Valley and along the banks of Kansas River, Justin is lucky enough to be in the middle of the migration season after season. It wasn't until 3 years ago that Justin became known as "The DrakeTaker" when him and his buddy and fellow Pro-Staffer Austin Urban decided to make a name for themselves in the world of waterfowling. Every season Justin spends every day during the long season either scouting one of the many fields he has permission on, tuning calls, taking out youth hunters, or his personal favorite sitting in a blind doing some DrakeTaken'. As much as Justin loves hunting he also realizes the importance of conservation when it comes to waterfowl. That's why he volunteers his time with the Oregon Trail DU Chapter and is the chairman for the Topeka DU Chapter. Justin is lucky enough to be able to hunt all over NE Kansas as he has permission on fields in Grantville, Rossville, St. Marys, and any field around Silver Lake. When it comes to decoys he prefers Dakota Brand stating that." they are the most realistic, durable decoys on the market." His favorite type of waterfowl hunt is hunting geese over water, "There's nothing like seeing the splash a big old honker makes after falling from the sky." Justin's passion for waterfowl hunting has given him many great opportunities over the years and recently Justin became a Pro-Staffer for the Kansas Hunting & Fishing Forum, and Natural Gear Camo, he is also a Field Staffer for Dakota Decoys.
